Childish Gambino + Danny Brown in Miami
Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover is just a rapper…or at least thats what the triple threat musician/comedian/TV star proclaimed on his mixtape of the same name. Maybe he felt he needed to deny his other substantial skills as to not overshadow his lyrical wit and unique flow, but coming from a guy who plays one of the nuttiest characters on one of NBC’s most off the wall sitcoms ever (COMMUNITY) and has a stand up special on Comedy Central, its best not to think too hard about it.
On the other hand, DANNY BROWN is someone who definitely considers themselves a rapper. With his XXX mixtape (thats the name not the rating you perverts) released on Fools Gold Records and a recent cover of musical zeitgeist The Fader, Brown’s career is blowing up.
